Classic Kitchen Remodel
This was a full gut remodel of a well-worn, outdated kitchen. Everything was replaced, with the exception of the appliances. I kept the sink, stove, and refrigerator in the same locations because the layout functioned well. I designed this kitchen to be clean, classic, and timeless, with an all-white color scheme and pops of warm wood and brass. The cabinets are in a classic white shaker. The flooring is a luxury vinyl plank with a white oak look that was carried into the kitchen from the rest of the house. The countertops are quartz in a marble look with dramatic veining. The backsplash is a white subway tile with color and texture variation to add subtle movement and interest. The vent hood, light fixtures, and open shelving add the warmth and drama that this all-white kitchen needs.
The cabinets were purchased online from a RTA (read-to-assemble) supplier and were assembled and hung by the homeowner.
Everything in this kitchen, with the exception of the countertops, were installed by the homeowner: white oak floating shelves, custom vent hood, lighting, and tile backsplash.
