This guest bedroom was designed to be a welcoming, warm, inviting space for visitors. Sticking with the modern farmhouse style of the rest of the house, I incorporated a board and batten accent wall behind the queen bed to anchor the otherwise white room. I kept the linens simple in a crisp white and used a small antique dresser of the homeowner’s as a bedside table. The wall at the foot of the bed includes a fold-away luggage rack, a slim console table, and a DIY ladder quilt rack. I added floral curtains to soften the room and repeated the floral motif in the DIY artwork above the bed.
